Doing it alone is where it always broke down.
Instead of support:
● You felt judged and criticized for your efforts.
● People made you feel selfish for wanting to be treated better.
● People said you were "just being silly" or "making a big deal out of nothing."

Instead of support:
● You felt judged and criticized for your efforts.
● People made you feel selfish for wanting to be treated better.
● People said you were "just being silly" or "making a big deal out of nothing."
There was one obstacle after another and no real change ever stuck.
But the real obstacle?
Lack of support:
You felt judged and criticized for your efforts.
People made you feel selfish for wanting to be treated better.
You felt underappreciated and your needs ignored.
People said you were "just being silly", or "making a big deal out of nothing."
Imagine how it would feel if you:
● Stopped second-guessing yourself — and started trusting your own voice.
● Made one change that actually stuck... without fallout at home.
● Felt lighter in your day-to-day — less tension, less dread, more ease.
● Had a clear next step you could follow through on — without forcing it.

Imagine how it would feel if you could:
Release the guilt
that's weighing you down.
Feel lighter, smile easier and have a spring in your step again.
Enjoy a more equal footing in your relationships so things didn't always feel skewed in their favor.
Give yourself permission to do nice things for yourself. Stop hoping someone will think of your needs for a change.
Finally begin living as your true self. Confident, happy and filled with new purpose.

You’re ready to say what you really want — even if it scares you at first
You’re tired of saying “I’m fine” and want a place to be honest
You’re okay not having the whole plan first — you'll let clarity unfold as you go
You’re ready to test small changes in real life — with support for adjustments
You’re looking for a quick fix — not steady change
You’re not in a place to be honest with yourself right now
You want insight — but you're not willing to try anything new between sessions

You don’t want to keep living this way for the rest of your life.
You’re tired of everyone else’s expectations running your life.
You’re willing to honestly explore what you want.
You want to stop circling the same questions.
You’re looking for a quick fix and not ready to commit to personal growth.
You want someone to tell you what to do instead of helping you decide for yourself.
You’re not ready to change old patterns, even though you know they don’t fit you anymore.
You’re in the second half of life and you don’t want to keep living like this for another 5 years.
You want clarity, not pep talks — real conversation and practical next steps.
You’re tired of everyone else’s expectations quietly running your life and you’re ready to look at what you actually want to keep, change, or let go of.
You’re willing to talk honestly about what you want right now, knowing it’s okay if that evolves as you test changes.
You’re ready to stop circling the same questions and actually try small, safe changes in your real life — with support, instead of on your own.

I'm Jo Ann Kobuke, coach and hypnotherapist for women 50+ who are done living a life that doesn’t fit anymore — and want real support making changes without burning everything down.
In the Third Choice Intensive, we combine two powerful tools — so follow-through gets easier.
Coaching — we get clear on what you actually want, name what needs to change, and map the small, real-life steps you’ll take (with support as you try them).
Targeted hypnosis — helps your nervous system treat change as safe, so you can move forward without spiraling, second-guessing, or shutting down.

Hypnosis is a core part of the program.
Across the first 6 weeks, I’ll use guided hypnosis sessions to help loosen the old “rules” you’ve been living by (the ones that trigger fear, guilt, second-guessing, or shutdown). Then we use coaching to turn that shift into real-life decisions and changes you can actually follow through on.
You’ll be working with both: your insights + your nervous system. That’s why change sticks.
It’s a natural state of focused attention — like getting absorbed in a book, a movie, or a daydream.
You’re relaxed, present, and aware… but your mind is quieter, and it’s easier to work with the patterns that normally run in the background.
In this program, we use it to loosen old "rules" and make new choices feel safer and more doable.
You’re in control the whole time. This isn’t stage hypnosis. It's real hypnotherapy, and you can’t be made to do anything you don’t want to do. You can open your eyes, move, talk, or stop at any time.
Most people are surprised by how normal it feels — just calm and focused.
Yes. Hypnosis is a safe, normal state of focused attention — and you’re in control the whole time. You can ask questions or tell me things.
You can stop at any point. We go at your pace, and nothing happens without your consent. I’ll explain exactly what we’re doing before we do it.
If hypnosis isn’t the right tool for you at this time, we’ll know on the call and we can use a different approach.
No — you’re not asleep. You’re relaxed, but aware. You can hear everything I say, and you’ll remember the session.
Afterward, most people feel grounded, lighter, and clearer — like their system finally relaxed.
Most people can. You just need a willingness to relax, follow directions, and let yourself focus. If you can get absorbed in a story, or imagine a scene… you can do this.
This is a structured, deep coaching experience that includes hypnotherapy — but it isn’t a substitute for clinical therapy.
If you’re working through deep trauma or need clinical-level mental health support, therapy is the better place for that. This program can complement therapy, but it’s not designed to replace it.

Hypnosis is a natural state of focus and awareness. It helps you access the subconscious—the place where patterns are created and habits and beliefs are stored—so you can shift patterns at the root level.
Yes. In fact, you already experience light hypnosis when you daydream or get lost in a book. You’re always in control—and most women are surprised by how natural and relaxing it feels.
No. That’s stage-show hypnosis, not therapeutic hypnosis. In real hypnosis, you can’t be made to do anything against your will.
Yes, with rare exceptions. As long as you’re open and willing, a skilled hypnotist can guide you into hypnosis easily.
No, not at all. Your mind is relaxed but alert, and your subconscious is more open to suggestion. Most people feel calm, clear, and refreshed afterward.
When you think about changing things — asking for help, saying no, working less, putting your needs in the mix — your nervous system often treats it like a threat. That’s when you go straight back to people-pleasing, over-explaining, or dropping what you want.
In the Third Choice Intensive, hypnosis helps retrain that response. We work with your subconscious so your own choices stop feeling dangerous. That makes it easier to set boundaries, try small real-life changes, and keep what still matters without caving to guilt every time someone has feelings about it.
